Listening to BNL’s holiday record this morning and dancing around the house with my baby daughter, and I’m just kinda sad that Steven Page left Barenaked Ladies. It got me thinking about this stuff on a Saturday morning.

Funnery: Wordle

Take a quick Friday break and paste some text or, better yet, a URL for your (or any) website into Wordle.

It produces a kinda-sorta-word-cloud that’s full of bright colors and stuff. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.

Here’s one I did for The Daily Blur.

How to Stop Facebook from using your photos in ads

Starting today Facebook will use your photos in ads that will appear on the profile page of your contacts.

If you want to prevent this from happening, do the following: Settings => Privacy Settings=> News Feed and Wall => Facebook Ads => Choose “No one” and save changes.
