Hello in there. Hope you had a goodly ten days.
I’m back, albiet merely dipping my toe in the shallow end of the scuzz:
I'm kinda tall. I talk with my hands a lot. I make up words sometimes.
I'm a husband, dad, and I'm the head custodian for The Imagination Advisory Group. All three are pretty good gigs.
I regularly speak to conferences, colleges, and companies about what makes people do the things they do.
In 2005, my worldview shifted when our son was diagnosed with autism. Since then, our family has learned to separate the truly important from the merely urgent.

Got a couple of nice emails about yesterday's post, but if I may, I'd like to offer you two cautionary explicitisms:1. This set off a series of interesting conversations here in my office, which is a small, locally-owned research firm that frequently finds ourselves in the great shadow of J.D. Power. The Market Research Association of America (our industry’s guiding organization) publishes ethics and guidelines standards regarding research methodology and responsibility:(http://www.mra-net.org/pdf/expanded_code.pdf)and in my review today, I find several points of conflict with what was reported about J.D. Power’s tactics. By web and by phone contact, I was not able to confirm whether this widely-known company is in fact a member of the MRA.
Brings up an interesting consumer question when interpreting what we read and hear. Thanks, Tim!
