Awe...my first true love. Love the Pic!

My walls talk to me all day. On the left side of me is a lovely portrait of a lady with a bad hair day from my daughter when she was in 2nd grade.(smile) Below that,a cut out from a website that tells me I'm ok to say "no" to some opportunities. In front of me is a painting from the best vacation ever Positano, Italy. Next to that is a Shaun Belding Blog clip on "How to get things done".....my favorite #2 Just start doing it. Kid pics on top of the computer and to the right the conversation piece of the office....a "hunky calander given to me by the Shakes kids.(they thought I would pitch it). Then last but best is the word "grace" which is taped at the top of my computer screen to remind me to live like my Lord Jesus Christ.

Sad to say that I have nothing on my walls or surrounding my new office... yet! I do have some fabulous ideas to motivate me- and help me keep focused on the NOW.

Great gift from your wife. She's super.

Love the poster, but I'm curious to know whether, as a writer, the lack of grammar (last time I looked, "think" was a verb) doesn't irritate you just a little bit?

Above my desk I have an old Peanuts cartoon with Snoopy at his typewriter being bothered by Lucy. In the final frame he types "Bug Off!" Not that anyone in my family ever takes the hint.

The walls around my desks (3 of them) have pics of my wifey and kidlets, because without them, I wouldn't have a reason to be.

(Nit-picking notion from the Grammar Nazi: it's "Think different-LY.")

A photo of our wedding on Maui sits to my right.

A photo of one of America's greatest screenwriters, Dalton Trumbo, hangs next to my computer screen.

A painting titled, "Thoughts Create," by one of my favorite artists, hangs behind me to look at when I spin around and need to stare.

And when I need to center myself, my pup is usually wrapped around my chair. :-)

Artwork from my daughter. Pics of my wife and old friends. A big dry erase board of made-up band names. And a dusty old bottle of Guiness some guy left in my office several years ago.

and isn't this the same wonderful wife that completely re-painted and prepared said office for this fabulous print just last year?

she's welcome to visit/revamp my office... but she'd have to ignore the randomly tossed papers (which I do) to be charmed by the framed photo of my dad leading my horse, the various photo's of me at various competitions upon the back of my horse taped to my bulletin board... pics of Scott and his 2 boys on the ice after a hockey practice, most of my graduation certifs from Wizard Academy and a handwritten note of 6 writing tips that Roy had posted in a long past MMM.

and I know that somewhere under those papers is my pen... really, I'm sure that's where it is....
