I turned 40 yesterday. Last night, my son handed me a flash drive for my birthday. He (with help from his therapist and pretty much our favorite person in the world, Nadia) made this video while I had been out of town for the better part of two weeks.
“It was totally his idea, and he worked really hard on it,” Nadia said. So, I’m going to share it. This is a boy who was non-verbal only about five minutes ago. Boy, things do change as you get older.
This weekend, remember to separate the truly important from the merely urgent, please.
Oh, and does anyone know when submissions open for the True/False Film Festival?

Oh man… WOW. That is about the best birthday present EVER! Will cracked me up when he answered that “What do Daddys do?” with “..make lots of money.” Woot! And I sure wish I had a ribbon like that for “writing.” I hope you’ll be nice and share…. :-)
